Project

A tab for managing projects in Goodloading.

  1. New project: when one loading is completed, you can start designing the next one. After selecting a new project, decide whether you want to save the previous project or not.
  2. Open project: takes you to your user account where previously saved projects are located.
  3. Save project: save the project to your account.
If your company has several users in Goodloading, you can share projects with your colleagues by selecting the “share within my company” option. All shared projects can be found in the “My Projects” tab, where you can view both your own and those created by your team.
  4. Import from file: a function that allows you to load a load list from an Excel-type program. Clicking on the CSV import window will provide instructions on how to properly upload the loads. We have described this function in detail here.
  5. Export to file: this feature allows you to download the entire loading project as an Excel file. Due to different tools for opening this type of file, the user needs to choose the separator type. If the generated file is unreadable, try downloading it by selecting a different separator type.
The file contains information such as the type and name of the loaded space along with its dimensions, dimensions and names of the loads, total weight of the loaded cargoes, free and occupied LDM, the number of loaded cargoes, loading volume, and unused space.
When you export data, you can choose to download a basic CSV file or a more extensive one described as a ‘CSV file.’ The two files are different in content and in the fact that the basic file cannot be imported into the program, while the extended one can.
